Fade Away

There are just some songs you would love to hear blaring through the walls of a club bathroom -- "Fade Away" by Carli Storms is one of them. With an 80s feel and modern day electronic dance music production, it's hard not to dance along to the beat.

LA based artist, Carli Storms, is a vocalist, instrumentalist, writer, producer and engineer all in one. Her newest release, "Fade Away" is full of catchy motifs with an upbeat, celestial atmosphere. It's reminiscent of Belinda Carlisle's hits in the 80s, but with a modern, club-like twist. There are consistent piano block chords throughout the song, creating a solid foundation while the percussive and electronic elements generate a steady build. Lyrically, the song is simple, yet effective. Hours after listening to "Fade Away" for the first time, the main motif, "I won't just fade away," still plays on loop in my brain. Overall, with nothing to dissect or over-analyze, the song utilizes a simplicity that allows the listener to escape to a lucid, clear state of mind.

Check out "Fade Away" now on all major streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon). I highly recommend blasting it on your speakers for the perfect weekend pump up jam.
